Cryo microscope for structural biology projects. Both feasible for state-of the art high-resolution EM single particle and tomography analysis. Equipped with a 300kV FEG electron source, an imaging filter (Gatan), a direct electron detector (K2 Summit, Gatan), and automatic loading and refilling systems. 37.5% of the Krios is on permanent lease by Prof. Kuehlbrandt (MPI Biophysics).
